Why we use it
Lactic acid, glycolic acid, and a lactic/glycolic copolymer are used to create a microscopic poly-lactic glycolic acid shell, which encapsulates fragile active ingredients. PLGA is biocompatible and biodegradable and is used in both medical and cosmetic formulations as a delivery vehicle.
