Why we use it
The sea buckthorn plant is a hardy little shrub found in northern Europe and throughout the Himalaya. The flesh of its orange berries produce a bright red oil that features the highest concentration of palmitoleic acid of any known plant oil. Palmitoleic acid can speed up wound healing, and has significant anti-inflammatory effects.
